With Harry Kane set to equal Peter Shilton’s caps record, never forget England’s first centurion - Wolves legend Billy Wright.

As Harry Kane prepares to equal Peter Shilton's England caps record against Czechia, Wolverhampton Wanderers and national team icon Billy Wright is remembered as the country's first centurion. Wright made 105 appearances for England, captaining the team on 90 occasions, and never received a single caution or red card throughout his entire playing career.
At club level, Wright made 541 appearances and scored 19 goals for Wolves, captaining the side under manager Stan Cullis to three league titles and an FA Cup triumph. He later managed Arsenal and served as a Wolves director before passing away in September 1994.
