Marshall Munetsi was among the goals for his country once again during the latest batch of international matches involving members of Cesar Peixoto's Wolves squad.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Marshall Munetsi scored for Zimbabwe in their 2-1 defeat against DR Congo during Africa Cup of Nations qualification. Munetsi's stoppage-time strike marked the nation's first goal back at the National Sports Stadium in six years following stadium renovations. He featured alongside club teammate Tawanda Chirewa as Zimbabwe remained in second place in AFCON qualification Group E.
Eight other Wolves players featured during the international break across various competitions. Nasser Djiga helped Burkina Faso secure a 1-0 win against Central African Republic, while Ghislain Konan played in Ivory Coast's 2-0 victory over Somalia. Elsewhere, Ladislav Krejci captained Czech Republic in a 2-0 loss to England, Jordan James featured in Wales' 2-1 win over Norway, and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde appeared in Haiti's 4-1 triumph over Dominican Republic.
