Marshall Munetsi and Tawanda Chirewa both starred for Zimbabwe on Thursday evening as they helped their country to an incredible Africa Cup of Nations qualification fightback.
Wolverhampton Wanderers players Marshall Munetsi and Tawanda Chirewa led Zimbabwe to a 3-2 comeback victory over Sierra Leone in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Thursday. Trailing 2-0 with 20 minutes remaining, Munetsi scored a header from Chirewa's corner before Chirewa leveled the match four minutes later. Munetsi then scored the winning goal in the 88th minute.
Several other Wolves players featured on international duty, including Ghislain Konan, who played 90 minutes in Ivory Coast's 2-0 win over Ghana. Jordan James played 77 minutes in Wales's 1-0 UEFA Nations League defeat to Portugal, while Jean-Ricner Bellegarde featured for Haiti in their 3-2 victory against Trinidad and Tobago.
