Wolves head into the international break in fourth-place in the Championship.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Cesar Peixoto has credited the squad's senior players for helping younger teammates develop at Molineux. Wolves entered the international break in fourth place in the Championship following a 1-0 win against Black Country rivals West Bromwich Albion, where Fer Lopez scored. Peixoto noted that seasoned players play a crucial role in building dressing-room confidence and guiding recent additions.
The club retained Jose Sa, Toti Gomes, and Andre after relegation, while adding veteran experience over the summer with Kieran Trippier and Raul Jimenez. Younger players including Lopez, Rodrigo Gomes, Nasser Djiga, and Mateus Mane have started the campaign strongly, with Peixoto stating the team earned a necessary rest during the international break following a heavy three-game week.
