Olivia Beards will explore the history of the Molineux Pleasure Grounds before football took over

The Albrighton & District Historical Society will host a historical talk titled 'Beneath the Pitch: A History of Molineux Pleasure Grounds' on Monday, October 5, at 7:30 pm. Speaker Olivia Beards will examine the origin and background of the Molineux Pleasure Grounds prior to the construction of Wolverhampton Wanderers' famous home stadium.
Taking place at the Red House in Albrighton, the presentation will detail the music, sports, and entertainment hosted on the site before football became dominant. Attendees can enter for an admission fee of £3 on the night, with free parking nearby.
