Humphrey Ker to step down from Wrexham AFC and Wrexham AFC Foundation boards

Wrexham AFC have confirmed that Humphrey Ker is stepping down from the club's board and as a trustee of the Wrexham AFC Foundation. Ker concludes a five-year association with the club, having played a key role in introducing co-chairmen Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds to Wrexham during their 2021 takeover from the Wrexham Supporters Trust.

Ker also featured prominently in the documentary series Welcome to Wrexham and witnessed three consecutive promotions from the National League to the Championship. In a statement, Ker noted that the club's structural evolution made it progressively harder for him to contribute, making watching from a distance the right choice.
