Former Wrexham midfielder James Jones has got a new club and is back where it all began.
Former Wrexham midfielder James Jones has signed a short-term deal with League Two side Crewe Alexandra until January. The 30-year-old had been a free agent after being released by Burton Albion at the end of last season and had recently been training with manager Lee Bell's squad.
Jones originally came through the Crewe academy, making 185 appearances before joining Lincoln City in 2020. He later moved to Wrexham in August 2021, helping the club earn back-to-back promotions from the National League to League One.
