Wrexham attacking midfielder Josh Windass faces another period on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury during a 1-1 Championship draw against Derby County. Manager Phil Parkinson confirmed that while a scan showed the damage was not as severe as initially feared, the 32-year-old will miss the upcoming match against West Bromwich Albion at The Racecourse.

Windass sustained ligament damage after catching his foot in the ground just 15 minutes into the match on Saturday. He had only recently returned to competitive action before the international break following an earlier calf problem that kept him out of the start of the season.
