Leicester City assistant manager Conor Hourihane leaves the League One side after just over four months in the job.

Leicester City assistant manager Conor Hourihane has left the League One club after just over four months in his role. The 35-year-old former Republic of Ireland midfielder originally joined the Foxes in June as Russell Martin's number two, having previously managed Barnsley for 14 months until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Hourihane's departure comes amid pressure on Martin following a slow start to the campaign, with Leicester winning five and losing four of their first 13 league matches. While Martin remains in charge with coaches Andy King, Tom Weal, and Rhys Owen, loans manager Steve Morison has joined the backroom staff to provide coaching support.
