Trey Nyoni quit Leicester City back in 2023 with the terms of his move to Anfield expected to be settled by a tribunal but it has now been confirmed exactly how much the Premier League side had to pay…

Liverpool reportedly paid just under £1 million to sign Trey Nyoni from Leicester City after the midfielder left the Foxes' academy in 2023. While Leicester City had awaited an independent tribunal decision regarding compensation, the modest fee was confirmed just months after Liverpool rejected a £30 million transfer bid from Nottingham Forest for the 19-year-old talent.
Nyoni has since made 31 senior appearances for Liverpool, with manager Andoni Iraola praising his development and reliability. The teenager is now reportedly closing in on a new extended contract at Anfield, highlighting Leicester's missed opportunity for a major financial windfall as he continues to feature in competitions like the Champions League.
