The Story in 60 Seconds

Leicester City's owners have set a new deadline of Friday, October 16, for interested parties to submit takeover bids for the club. The Srivaddhanaprabha family is reportedly seeking £225 million for a full sale, which includes the King Power Stadium, the Seagrave training ground, and both the men's and women's teams. Sky News reports the original October 14 deadline was extended to accommodate additional interested suitors.

A consortium led by Scottish-Indian businessman Neil Lal previously confirmed submitting an offer directly to the board. Despite ongoing sale discussions, chief football officer Jon Rudkin stated that chairman Aiyawatt 'Top' Srivaddhanaprabha remains committed to running the club, which currently sits 17th in League One.
