Two former Sheffield Wednesday players have left the free agent market to sign for a non-league club.

Former Sheffield Wednesday players Marvin Johnson and Elias Kachunga have signed with National League side Solihull Moors as free agents. Johnson, a key figure in the Owls' 2023 promotion campaign under Darren Moore, agreed to a short-term contract extending until mid-January. Moors first-team manager Chris Millington praised both experienced additions for bringing quality and tactical flexibility.
Kachunga previously made 29 appearances during Wednesday's 2020/21 season and joins to bolster the club's attack. The duo reunites at the ARMCO Arena with fellow former Sheffield Wednesday players Chey Dunkley, who arrived recently on loan from Chesterfield, and Rio Shipston.
