Former Sheffield Wednesday, Watford and Udinese forward Fernando Forestieri says he joined sixth tier side Oxford City for a fresh challenge.

Former Sheffield Wednesday and Watford forward Fernando Forestieri has signed a deal with sixth-tier side Oxford City as a free agent. The 36-year-old departed Cypriot first division club Aris Limassol over the summer and decided to join the National League North club for a fresh career challenge.
Forestieri explained the move allows him to remain close to his London-based family following the recent birth of his child. His prior relationship with manager Ross Jenkins and first-team coach Paul Robinson also played a decisive role in finalizing the switch.
