Sheffield Wednesday were credited with an interest in the Portsmouth man over the summer but nothing materialised in the end.

Writer Harry Mail argues that Sheffield Wednesday should revive their transfer pursuit of Portsmouth striker Colby Bishop during the upcoming January window. The Owls were linked with a move for the 29-year-old forward over the summer, but a deal failed to materialize before the deadline.
Mail believes Bishop would offer manager Henrik Pedersen a physical focal point in attack to boost their League One promotion bid alongside Jamal Lowe, Davis Keillor-Dunn, and Mason Burstow. Although Bishop remains under contract at Portsmouth until June 2028, Mail suggests Pompey could consider a permanent sale if an acceptable bid arrives.
