The Owls are searching for a new manager.

Sheffield Wednesday are searching for a new manager following the sacking of Henrik Pedersen. Led by sporting director Simon Wilson, the Owls are assessing their options, with unattached former Stockport County manager Dave Challinor emerging as an early frontrunner due to his previous successful partnership with Wilson.
The Star highlights several other potential candidates, including free agents Paul Heckingbottom and Gary Rowett, as well as Ryan Mason and Gerhard Struber. While currently employed managers such as Paul Warne and Tom Cleverley could be considered, potential compensation constraints under EFL business plan restrictions may favor hiring an out-of-contract boss.
