Newly-crowned Ballon d’Or winner extends lucrative stay in the Bundesliga until 2029…
Harry Kane has signed a new contract with Bayern Munich through the end of the 2028/29 season. The lucrative extension is believed to make the 33-year-old striker the highest-paid player in Europe by base salary, following months of negotiations with the Bundesliga club's hierarchy.
The agreement comes shortly after Kane won the 2026 Ballon d'Or ahead of Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal. The England international originally joined Bayern from Tottenham in 2023 for €100 million and netted a club-record 61 goals in 51 matches across all competitions last season under manager Vincent Kompany.
