Allysha Chapman has announced her retirement from international soccer and will earn her 100th cap for Canada on October 12 against Denmark. Canada Soccer will honor the defender during the match at BMO Field in Toronto, which marks the second of two home friendly fixtures during the international window.
Chapman debuted in 2014, accumulating 99 caps, two goals, and three assists prior to her milestone appearance. Her decorated international career includes winning an Olympic gold medal at Tokyo 2020, bronze at Rio 2016, and appearing in three FIFA Women's World Cups.
