Rabbi Matondo is intent on altering the false perception he feels developed around him during his time at Rangers after returning to Scottish football with Hibernian.
Former Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo stated he has unfinished business in Scotland after signing a deal with Hibernian until the end of the season. The 26-year-old Wales international joined Hibs following a trial period at their training camp in La Manga and could make his debut against Dundee United. Matondo expressed a strong desire to reshape public perceptions of his abilities following an injury-disrupted stint at Ibrox.
Matondo previously made 70 appearances for Rangers before departing in March for Norwegian side Brann, where he made just four substitute appearances. Saturday's match also marks Hibernian's first fixture under new Dutch manager Marink Reedijk, who recently took over following the departure of David Gray.
