EXCLUSIVE: Paul Dickov is a cult hero at the Etihad having scored the 'greatest goal' in the club's history

Former Manchester City striker Paul Dickov has admitted that allegations against the club are upsetting, but stated he believes supporters will remain loyal regardless of any potential punishment. Speaking to the Scottish Express, the cult hero addressed the fallout surrounding the club's financial charges, noting that the fan base has consistently stood by the team through difficult periods over the past century.
Manchester City has appealed the findings of an independent commission, which ruled that the club breached financial fair play regulations. Dickov noted that while rival fans have reacted strongly to the situation, he prefers to withhold full judgment until the appeal process and any subsequent sanctions are concluded.
