Well-travelled Binks eager to make mark for Scotland

Brondby captain Luis Binks is training with Scotland in La Manga, Spain, aiming to earn his international debut against Slovenia on Saturday. The 25-year-old center-back qualifies for the national team through a grandparent from Dunbar and is one of eight uncapped players selected in manager Sebastien Pocognoli's new squad.

Binks reflected on his early career journey, recalling how he left Tottenham Hotspur at 18 to play senior football under Thierry Henry at Montreal Impact. During the 2020 pandemic lockdown, Binks and Henry were the sole residents living in a Montreal hotel, where the legendary striker offered valuable defensive guidance.
