Scotland manager Sebastien Pocognoli has reacted to the Tartan Army chanting his name for the first time against North Macedonia with a pledge.
Scotland manager Sebastien Pocognoli praised his squad's attacking display and connection with supporters following a 2-0 Nations League victory against North Macedonia in Skopje. Kieron Bowie opened the scoring in the seventh minute with his first international goal, and John McGinn sealed the win with a 70th-minute penalty to move Scotland level on points with Slovenia in Group B1.
Despite dominant spells and a clean sheet, Pocognoli urged his players to be more ruthless after missing multiple scoring chances. Centre-back Scott McKenna was sent off late for a rash foul, while Brondby defender Luis Binks earned praise for his solid performance ahead of Scotland's upcoming match against Slovenia at Hampden.
