Kieron Bowie has confessed he was an angry man during the Nations League match with North Macedonia despite scoring his first Scotland goal.
Scotland striker Kieron Bowie admitted he felt angry during their UEFA Nations League victory against North Macedonia despite scoring his first international goal. The Sassuolo forward opened the scoring in the seventh minute in Skopje, but expressed frustration at missing other opportunities to increase Scotland's lead.
Bowie's early strike prevented Scotland from setting an unwanted record of five consecutive matches without scoring. The 24-year-old also won a late penalty converted by John McGinn, praising his recent development in Serie A following transfers from Hibernian to Hellas Verona and Sassuolo.
