Leeds United hit with Ethan Ampadu transfer warning as next move clear

Former Wales striker Dean Saunders stated that Leeds United captain Ethan Ampadu has the quality to eventually play for a Premier League "big six" club. The midfielder recently signed a new contract at Elland Road after joining from Chelsea permanently in 2023 under manager Daniel Farke.

While praising Ampadu's leadership and versatility, Saunders cautioned that the Welsh international needs to reduce his yellow cards. Leeds legend Eddie Gray also commended Ampadu's organizational presence and influence on the pitch, following Ampadu's recent appearance in Wales' 1-0 Nations League defeat to Portugal.
