Aston Villa and Lyon are reportedly preparing to compete for the loan signing of Real Madrid striker Endrick in January. According to Spanish radio station Cadena SER, the Brazilian forward has struggled for playing time and has not convinced new manager Jose Mourinho, pushing him toward a mid-season departure.
Endrick previously spent time on loan at Lyon, but Aston Villa is viewed as a primary destination due to Unai Emery's squad rebuilding and their Champions League participation.
