Barcelona have contacted the camp of an Arsenal centre-back who has made only two starts this season. Hansi Flick likes his versatility, but the Gunners want at least £34m.

Barcelona have reportedly contacted the representatives of Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie regarding a potential move in the upcoming January transfer window. Sporting director Deco has initiated talks with the 24-year-old's entourage to gauge his interest, with manager Hansi Flick approving of the Ecuadorian's profile and defensive versatility.
Hincapie joined Arsenal permanently last summer for £34m following a loan spell, but he has been limited to seven appearances and two starts this season. While Barcelona are considering a permanent deal, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta remains reluctant to sanction a mid-season departure, and the Gunners would demand at least £34m.
