Carlos Espi has been rewarded for his performances with the Spain Under-21s team.

Real Madrid striker Carlos Espi has earned his first senior Spain call-up after being promoted to Luis de la Fuente's squad for upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures. The forward was initially with Spain's Under-21 side but was called into the senior setup following an injury to Ferran Torres.
Espi's promotion follows an impressive five-goal performance during Spain Under-21s' 13-0 victory against San Marino in 2027 European Under-21 Championship qualifying. He could make his senior international debut when Spain hosts the Czech Republic in Oviedo on October 3, before traveling to face Croatia in Split on October 6.
