Barcelona sporting director Deco has announced that the club is close to finalizing new contract extensions for Raphinha, Marc Bernal, and Xavi Espart. Speaking at the club's General Assembly, Deco explained that while the deals are not yet formally signed, negotiations are highly advanced and awaiting final completion.
Under the proposed terms, 29-year-old captain Raphinha and 19-year-old full-back Espart are expected to sign extensions running through 2030. Meanwhile, 19-year-old midfielder Bernal is set to extend his stay with the Catalan club until 2031, securing the futures of two La Masia graduates alongside their senior captain.
