FC Barcelona and sporting director Deco are closely monitoring the situation of Manchester United center-back Lisandro Martinez. Manager Hansi Flick reportedly seeks a natural left-footed defender capable of playing out from the back alongside Pau Cubarsi. Martinez is viewed as a strong fit for Flick's tactical setup due to his ball-playing ability and defensive versatility.
The interest comes amid reports indicating the 28-year-old Argentine international's future at Old Trafford is under review following contractual issues. While no official deal has been agreed upon, Barcelona is prepared to pursue a permanent transfer if the opportunity arises.
