Fàbregas Barcelona exit clause offers a symbolic route from Como, but he reportedly wants to remain with the club until 2028 for now.
Cesc Fàbregas reportedly has an exit clause in his Como contract allowing him to leave for a symbolic sum to former clubs Barcelona, Arsenal, or Chelsea. According to reporting from Gianluca Di Marzio via SPORT, the arrangement does not give Barcelona exclusive priority. Despite the provision, Fàbregas is under contract with Como through 2028 and currently intends to honor his deal with the Italian club.
Fàbregas has served as Como's head coach since 2024 following a spell as an assistant. While the clause reduces financial barriers for Barcelona, the article notes no coaching change is imminent and any potential move depends on interest and timing from both parties.
