Barcelona fixed-discontinuous strike overlaps the October 25 Clásico, but the club says the match and weekend events will go ahead as planned.
Barcelona's Clásico against Real Madrid on October 25 remains scheduled to go ahead despite a planned strike by fixed-discontinuous employees. The strike is scheduled from October 23 to October 26, overlapping with several club events. Barcelona has stated that it has the capacity to manage operations normally and guarantees the weekend's matches will take place.
The dispute involves 60 workers seeking improved pay and a 50 percent increase in staffing for auxiliary services like security, cleaning, and hospitality. Barcelona notes that other clubs outsource such roles, but confirmed it will continue discussions to reach a consensus.
