Real Madrid have stepped up their interest in Bournemouth and England midfielder Alex Scott, joining Chelsea in the pursuit of the 23-year-old. According to TEAMtalk, Real Madrid have scouted Scott several times in recent weeks and are considering a move for 2027. Chelsea reportedly remain at the front of the queue, having seen a bid worth over £60 million turned down during the summer.
Scott has emerged as a primary midfield target for Chelsea under manager Xabi Alonso, while Liverpool have also been linked with the midfielder. Bournemouth reportedly have no intention of selling the player in January. Scott's profile rose significantly following his first start for England in a 7-0 victory against Croatia, after which manager Thomas Tuchel praised him as the complete package.
