Ruben Aguilar scored Lens' lone goal in the 65th minute after Como had already established a seven-goal lead.
The result marks the heaviest defeat ever suffered by a French club in continental competition, surpassing Paris Saint-Germain's 1-6 loss to Juventus in 1997.
