Lucas Da Cunha secured a 1-0 victory for Como against Venice at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on the 10th matchday of Serie A. The French international scored the only goal of the closely contested match by converting a penalty in the 43rd minute, just before halftime.

The result marked Como's fifth consecutive victory across all competitions under manager Cesc Fàbregas, moving the club temporarily into fourth place in Serie A. Venice, managed by Davide Nicola, was unable to respond after going behind to Da Cunha's decisive strike.
