Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique stated that the club will not enter the January transfer market solely to replace the injured Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Speaking ahead of a Ligue 1 match against Lyon, Enrique affirmed that injuries do not justify new signings, noting that the squad was built to absorb significant absences.
Enrique clarified that while PSG remains attentive to transfer market opportunities if genuine needs arise, compensating for an injury is not a priority. In Kvaratskhelia's absence, Ferran Torres, Maghnes Akliouche, and Mika Godts are expected to see increased playing time in attack.
