Omar Da Fonseca, guest star of the demonstrations

Football commentator and former player Omar Da Fonseca unexpectedly found himself surrounded and celebrated by demonstrators during a national mobilization in Paris on Saturday. Although he did not appear to participate in the protest against the high cost of living, crowds warmly greeted the Argentine analyst. A video shared by content creator Arkunir captured numerous demonstrators singing in Da Fonseca's honor and filming the moment on their phones.

Da Fonseca established widespread popularity in France through his enthusiastic commentary style across a 14-year tenure at beIN Sports. Following his departure from the network, the former Paris Saint-Germain player joined Disney+ to broadcast Spanish championship matches alongside commentator Julien Brun.
