Initial updates regarding the health of Paris Saint-Germain left back Nuno Mendes are reassuring following his exit against Strasbourg, according to RMC. The Portuguese international reportedly experienced discomfort in his thigh, but staff within the club are not particularly worried about his condition ahead of their upcoming Champions League clash with FC Barcelona.
The 24-year-old defender was forced off in the 87th minute during PSG's away match against Strasbourg and walked directly to the locker room. Because manager Luis Enrique had already used all available substitutions, the European champions were required to finish the match with ten men.
