MLS commissioner Don Garber confirmed that Major League Soccer will not investigate New York City FC following the financial scandal involving its sister club, Manchester City. Speaking on Tuesday at the Front Office Sports "Tuned In" summit in Manhattan, Garber stated that the league is not in the business of monitoring what club owners do in other leagues, emphasizing that MLS solely oversees compliance with its own internal rules.

Both NYCFC and Manchester City are owned by City Football Group. Garber praised CFG's financial commitments to MLS, including NYCFC's upcoming stadium project adjacent to Citi Field.
