The Manchester United legend launched into a furious social media rant following the humiliating 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como…
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand strongly criticized the team following their 4-1 Champions League loss to Como, claiming the players looked as if they had won a raffle to enter the competition. Michael Carrick's side went behind within two minutes and fell 3-0 down before Joshua Zirkzee scored a late consolation goal.
The defeat extended United's winless streak across all competitions to seven matches. Following the final whistle, Carrick apologized directly to traveling supporters and took full responsibility, while captain Bruno Fernandes publicly questioned the coaching staff's tactical decision to avoid pressing man-to-man.
