Pochettino: Manchester City verdicts show fans ‘lived through an era of deception’

Mauricio Pochettino stated that the Premier League experienced a period of deception if Manchester City are found guilty of their financial charges. Speaking from St Louis, Missouri, the current United States men's national team head coach voiced strong criticism regarding the integrity of the competition following reports surrounding Manchester City's alleged breaches.

Pochettino, who previously managed Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Southampton, questioned the regulatory controls during the period between 2009 and 2018. He argued that sporting fairness ceased to exist if the club breached financial rules, suggesting the Premier League has suffered lasting damage regardless of any subsequent punishments.
