Arsenal's Mylo Bernard put in an impressive performance and scored for the England u17s against Germany on Sunday, but his team ultimately slipped to defeat.

Arsenal youth summer signing Mylo Bernard scored his first goal for the England Under-17s during a match against Germany on Sunday. After Maroko Soldic gave Germany the lead, Reggie Watson equalized for England from the penalty spot. Bernard then scored from close range just after the hour mark to put England ahead 2-1, though Germany later fought back to claim a 3-2 victory.
The strike marked Bernard's second appearance for the U17 side, following his debut win against Israel earlier in the international break. The striker, who joined Arsenal from Crystal Palace in the summer, now returns to his club aiming to earn his first start for the Gunners.
