Gabriel Magalhães had plenty of reasons to smile after Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Everton on Saturday, but the occasion was particularly special for the Brazilian defender. Not only did he help Arsenal secure another clean sheet and three important points…

Gabriel Magalhães celebrated his 200th Premier League appearance for Arsenal by scoring in a victory and clean sheet against Everton. The Brazilian defender headed home a cross from Ben White in the 69th minute, marking his 21st Premier League goal for the club and notably his first league goal from open play.
Defensive partner Ezri Konsa also scored during the match, representing the first time two Arsenal centre-backs scored in the same Premier League game since February 2024. Just Arsenal News praised Gabriel's determined performance at both ends of the pitch after he recovered from a second-half injury scare.
