Granit Xhaka reckons Arsenal released the best player he ever played with

Granit Xhaka has named former Arsenal teammate Mesut Ozil as the best player he ever played with throughout his career. Speaking in a video on Sunderland's TikTok page, the midfielder did not hesitate to name the German playmaker as his greatest teammate ahead of other notable colleagues at club and international level.

Xhaka and Ozil played 112 matches together for Arsenal, recording 61 wins, 24 draws, and 27 losses, including an unbeaten run in their first 16 games. Arsenal later released Ozil, while Xhaka went on to win the Bundesliga before joining Sunderland.
