Steven Gerrard makes bold Arsenal title prediction after Anfield win

Steven Gerrard has backed Arsenal to retain the Premier League title following their 1-0 win against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday. Speaking on The Overlap, the former Liverpool captain praised Arsenal's defensive performance and resilience under Mikel Arteta. Kai Havertz scored the decisive goal from a Declan Rice cross, sealing the Gunners' first league victory at Anfield since September 2012.

The result moved Arsenal back to the top of the table, three points ahead of Manchester City and nine clear of Liverpool. Gerrard likened Arsenal's disciplined, narrow victory to Jose Mourinho's title-winning Chelsea teams, asserting that their ability to secure difficult away victories will prove crucial in the title race.
