Arsenal’s search for more attacking quality has produced several fresh transfer links this week, with preparations for January attracting attention.

Arsenal have held talks with Atlético Madrid over a potential January move for Spanish attacker Alex Baena. Reporter Steve Kay states that manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta are both keen on securing a permanent transfer for the 25-year-old, whom the Gunners previously tracked prior to his switch from Villarreal to Madrid.
A winter deal could prove difficult, as Atlético are expected to demand a sizeable transfer fee for Baena, who is under contract until June 2030. Arsenal are exploring various attacking options, having also made inquiries regarding Eintracht Frankfurt forward Can Uzun and Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi.
