Better than Howe: One of the world’s “best managers” wants to join Man Utd

Ethan Lamb argues that Manchester United should pursue Antonio Conte rather than Eddie Howe if manager Michael Carrick is dismissed. Following a poor run of form with only two wins in 11 games, Carrick's future at Old Trafford is under scrutiny. Lamb highlights reports from talkSPORT claiming that Conte is keen to return to top-level management and would be open to taking over at United after leaving Napoli.

Comparing their Premier League records, Lamb contends that Conte's tactical pedigree and superior win percentage make him a better candidate than Howe. Conte boasts a 62.9% win rate and a league title from his Chelsea tenure, compared to Howe's 43.2% win rate. Lamb concludes that the Italian manager possesses the proven track record required to solve United's ongoing defensive and tactical struggles.
