Manchester United boss Michael Carrick has a number of injury concerns ahead of the game with Aston Villa…

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick faces a selection crisis with seven players set to miss Sunday's Premier League clash against Unai Emery's Aston Villa. Luke Shaw remains unavailable with a knock, while summer signing Carlos Baleba is ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury during United's midweek Champions League win against Roma. Defender Harry Maguire is also a major doubt after limping off with a suspected hamstring problem in the same match.
Marcus Rashford remains a concern following a hip injury that has sidelined him for four matches, while Patrick Dorgu may not be risked due to a recent hamstring issue. Long-term absentees Manuel Ugarte and Benjamin Sesko remain out of action, with Ugarte recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury and Sesko sidelined until 2027 with a shin injury.
