Aston Villa manager Unai Emery will make a late fitness check on right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka ahead of their Premier League clash against Manchester United. Wan-Bissaka has missed the club's last five matches with a hamstring injury suffered against Newcastle United. Emery faces a selection issue on the right side of defense as Matty Cash is suspended following his fifth yellow card of the season against Fulham.
Matteo Ruggeri remains sidelined with a hamstring issue and is progressing toward a return after the international break, while Amadou Onana continues his recovery from a summer ACL injury. Lamare Bogarde represents another potential option at right-back for Emery. Villa will visit Old Trafford aiming to secure their first away victory against Manchester United since 2021.
