A week earlier, in a dramatic 4-3 victory over Brighton, Palmer completed just one pass to the Brazilian forward.

Alonso must quickly find a tactical resolution. Getting his chief creator and primary goalscorer aligned is essential.
Improving offensive fluency will relieve immense pressure on Chelsea’s struggling defensive unit.
