Barcelona is closely monitoring Chelsea winger Estevao amid reports of frustration under new manager Xabi Alonso. Spanish outlet Sport reports that the 19-year-old feels overlooked and angry regarding his limited playing time this season. Alonso has favored an attacking lineup featuring Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer, and Morgan Rogers, leaving Estevao outside the primary starting roles.

Despite Barcelona sporting director Deco tracking the Brazilian's situation for a potential permanent transfer, Estevao reportedly intends to stay and prove himself at Chelsea. Meanwhile, former Chelsea player Frank Leboeuf suggested Alonso may need to sacrifice and sell the young talent if he does not fit the tactical system.
