Chelsea fans have made their feelings crystal clear after Xabi Alonso opted not to utilise Estevao in his side's Carabao Cup defeat to Liverpool…
Chelsea supporters expressed widespread frustration with manager Xabi Alonso after Brazilian winger Estevao remained an unused substitute during a Carabao Cup defeat to Liverpool. Following a 1-1 draw and a 6-5 penalty shootout loss at Anfield, Alonso defended his selection choices by stating the teenager will have his moments, but supporters criticized the lack of minutes.
The 19-year-old forward has played only 47 Premier League minutes this season after recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in April. With Chelsea now eliminated from the Carabao Cup, fans raised concerns over his development, and reports suggest Estevao could consider a transfer if his limited role continues.
